The Need
Southgate Medical Centre saw a huge increase in bookings and a busier medical clinic than they had previously experienced – so much so that they hired more staff. Cue some SEO help.

 

The SEO remedies we implemented had a real-world impact on the health of their website – specifically towards the rankings for various travel-related keywords.

The Plan
One of our Hawks met Martin through a GP visit and quickly uncovered that another SEO agency had given him some ill-informed advice, (that needed to be fixed as soon as possible). StudioHawk set to work to:

  • Redirect multiple duplicated domain setups to consolidate and avoid Google penalties
  • Perform technical improvements and link-building techniques to increase search presentations in relevant keywords
  • Improve the Google My Business listing to increase signals for CBD and Southbank local searches

After a failed website plugin caused havoc on their website, we sat down with the client and installed a new 301 redirect plugin – which boosted sales while traffic and visibility were down. This error, while annoying, refocused our efforts toward their business audience and a multifaceted backlink acquisition campaign in April of 2019.
