Prior to joining StudioHawk, James graduated with a Bachelor of Marketing at QUT. He discovered his interest in SEO during his time at university and knew it would be a career that he would like to dedicate time towards. James has worked as a marketing specialist in the retail industry and as a production manager in the world of manufacturing. During his time as a marketing graduate, James also went through some coding courses online to aid his knowledge in the field of digital marketing.

As an Senior SEO Specialist, James has had the privilege of working with some incredible brands, such as TAB NZ, AEG Power Tools, De Bortoli Wines and El Jannah, helping them improve their ranks and drive organic traffic. 

Whether it's tackling technical SEO, crafting content strategies, or staying on top of the latest Google updates, James thrives on problem-solving and making websites work smarter. 

In his senior role, James focuses on a wide variety of key tasks to drive SEO success. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting keyword research and competitor analysis, solving technical SEO challenges, and overseeing site migrations. 

James is passionate about being part of a team that pushes boundaries, and working at StudioHawk allows him to do just that. When he's not immersed in the fast-paced world of SEO, you'll find him at the gym, exploring new AI tools, or gaming.
